Description: The Dryer Door Catch is a replacement part for select Kenmore, Maytag, Whirlpool dryer Models. It keeps the dryer door securely closed during operation.  A bad door catch can occur due to regular use, wear and tear, or accidental damage. If you notice that the dryer door is not staying closed or is popping open during the drying cycle, it may indicate a problem with the door catch.

This is an aftermarket part that can be used as a replacement for the OEM part.
