Description: This Water Inlet Valve is a replacement part for specific Maytag, GE, Frigidaire, Whirlpool washing machine models. It controls the flow of water into the washer tub at designated stages in the washing process. Water enters through the valve inlet and is distributed to internal components like the detergent dispenser, water pipes, and sump hoses. Common causes of a bad valve can include mineral scale buildup inhibiting proper flow regulation over time, or cracks and leaks from wear and tear on rubber gaskets and seals.
